what to expect
at christ alone
At Christ Alone you’ll find a welcoming, supportive community where you’ll feel right at home. Whether you're new to church or just visiting, our goal is to provide a space where you can grow in faith and experience God’s love.
Worship Style
Every church has a unique style of worship. Our services blend traditional liturgy with modern application, connecting timeless truths to everyday life. While it may take a couple of Sundays to become familiar with our worship style, we believe you’ll find it both uplifting and meaningful.
What to Expect During Service
An usher or member will hand you an easy-to-read worship folder containing the service order, Bible readings, and hymn lyrics. Sit wherever you’re comfortable—there are no assigned seats. It is our goal to provide an environment where you can learn, grow and develop your understanding of your Savior, Jesus Christ. Whatever types of music or liturgy our worship services may include, we always want Christ and his saving work to stand center stage and the Gospel to predominate.
Each service highlights:
Scripture Readings: We hear three Bible passages each week, listening to God speak directly to us.
Music and Singing: As part of a tradition known as “The Singing Church,” we joyfully sing hymns and songs of praise throughout the service.
Christ-Centered Worship: Every element focuses on God’s saving work through Jesus Christ. You’ll hear reminders of His love, grace, and the promise of eternal life through His death and resurrection.
Feel free to bring your Bible to follow along, though it’s not required.
Our Focus
The heart of our worship centers on what God has done for us through Christ. The songs, readings, and messages point to His greatest gift—sending His Son, Jesus, to live a perfect life, die for our sins, and rise again so we may have eternal life.
Honoring Tradition, Embracing Today
Our services honor the rich heritage of Christian worship while using modern language and applications to speak to today’s world. This combination helps us appreciate the wisdom of the past while drawing closer to God in daily life.
We look forward to worshiping with you and hope you find Christ Alone to be a place where your faith thrives.

Sometimes people wonder how they are expected to dress at a church they've never visited before. The Bible presents no dress code, but rather encourages us to present ourselves in simple decency, with Christian humility, and in a manner that honors the Lord. Christ Alone doesn't make any rules either. You will see all variety of styles from casual to dressy and all are welcome. Do not worry about feeling that you will be out of place if you do not dress "right."
